Image Shed was born in September 2003 from the creative fire of its founder’s imagination. Lucy Marks, a graduate of the Winchester School of Art and an award winning artist embodies a rare combination of artistic talent and business acumen. Artist, photographer, designer and director, Lucy’s vision and drive are the motivating power behind Image Shed’s continuing success.

Now Lucy Grafham, she can call on the skills of several fellow artists to fulfil the requirements of an expanding client base, and there is a team of technical, practical and conceptual thinking staff to keep this busy art studio running smoothly.

Dedicated to quality and imagination, Image Shed rejects the unoriginal tendency of other corporate art studios to reproduce ‘classics’ in a number of set sized, mass produced mouldings. We can offer architects, designers, managers and business owners a wide choice of fresh and original images, tailor made to complement their interior design schemes. “It’s more work,” Lucy says, “but why shouldn’t businesses have access to the best service available, rather than just being offered whatever is off the shelf?” This approach opens up many more opportunities for hotels, restaurants, cafes and other businesses to feature exclusive, contemporary artworks that actively contribute to the décor and atmosphere.
