After more than a year of research and development we have come up with an over-laminate finish to give premium defence against water or scratch damage.

OLD MASTERS, NEW TECHNOLOGY
A traditional method used by artists for hundreds of years, canvas art is also smart and contemporary thanks to modern printing technology and art techniques. Wrapped canvas over a wooden stretcher frame is classic, attractive and excellent value for money. Kiln dried softwood from a sustainable source is used for our hand built frames, and we hand-stretch the canvas to ensure a perfect fit, tension and finish.

CANVAS ART
Our canvases are treated with special “swellable” ink receptive coatings that assist the integrity of the canvas-ink bond, producing an extremely sharp, vibrant image with excellent definition.

BONDED PIGMENT
The coatings we use for our artworks are made of polymers that expand when water based inks are applied. As the liquid components of the ink evaporate off, the pigment remains behind and is absorbed into the coating, forming a close bond.
